Shop and office fitout professionals will be excited to hear about the arrival of the new HP Latex R2000 flatbed printer at Sign Here Signs.
Sign Here Signs Managing Director, Russell Friedman says that the printer has already opened doors to new business and design possibilities – in particular its outstanding direct print capabilities to glass and mirror products as well as a white ink option creating superior prints on Opticlear films. The large cost savings of the white ink printing option in particular will be attractive to those wanting customised glass splash-backs for example.
With the capability to direct print up to 2.5m wide and up to 50mm thick to almost any substrate (flexible or rigid) – designers, fabricators and installers now have the option to coordinate and colour match almost any part of an interior fitout – wallpaper, paneling, floors, blinds, furniture, lamp shades, canvas prints and even customised sheets!
A big plus of the new machine is HP’s Latex Ink technology which offers a vibrant, high quality and wider colour gamut as well as a glossy white, on transparent and coloured media, that won’t yellow over time. And, because latex inks are water-based, the R2000 produces an eco-friendly, low-odour product that is 100% recyclable and ideal for use in sensitive areas such as hospitals and schools.
